When is the reservation deadline?

The deadline to benefit from our reduced group rate is July 31, 2008.


How much do I need to pay to reserve a stateroom?

            The deposit to reserve a stateroom is $250 per
            person.


When do I need to make my final payment?

Final payment is due by December 15, 2008.  Changes or a full refund without penalty is available until that date.


If I need to fly to Florida, how may I arrange for my flight?

You have three choices:
A) Purchase your flight package along with your cruise from Princess Cruises through our travel agent, Ann Santillan.  Her direct line is 714-791-8558. 
B) Use the services of Coastline Travel to book your flights, by calling Ann Santillan. 
C) Use your usual method of buying plane tickets on the Internet, or from the specific airline, or through your local travel agent.


How do I get from the Ft. Lauderdale airport (FLL) to Port Everglades to board the ship?

If you are flying in on the day of the cruise, our travel agent is able to arrange for a shuttle for you through Princess Cruises for $15 each way.  The port is a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport.


Is the Ruby Princess a new ship?

Yes, with a maiden voyage scheduled for November 15, 2008.  The layout of the ship is identical to the Crown Princess ship used for the Moravian 550 Cruise in 2007.


Will there be time to do anything else at the port of call other than participate in the organized Moravian Tours in Jamaica and Grand Cayman?

Yes, the Moravian Tours are scheduled for about six of the nine hours we are docked at these two ports.


Will a lot of walking be involved in the Moravian Tour?

No.  Certainly, participants will have the option to walk around whenever we stop at a church, beach, tourist attraction, or shopping area.  However, we are providing door-to-door transportation so getting around will be less demanding.


Where do I send the donation for the Moravian Tour Package?

Please mail a check for $200, along with a completed registration form to:

May I go on the cruise and not participate in the Moravian Tour?

We welcome everyone on the cruise. We hope you will still make a donation of $200 to the Moravian Church of Downey even if you choose not to participate in the Moravian Tour.


Will there be any non-Moravians aboard ship?

            Yes, the Ruby Princess accommodates as many as 3,080 passengers in 900 staterooms.


Is there space for three or even four passengers in a stateroom?

Yes, and there are special reduced rates for these passengers.  Speak with our travel agent, Ann Santillan, for more information.  Her direct line is 714-791-8558 (free on the Sprint network).


Are there any organized plans for activities when the ship docks in Mexico or The Bahamas?

No.  You are welcome to make your own arrangements for ground tours on these two days.


Will there be a worship service onboard the ship?
         
Yes, we will gather for worship on Moravian Unity Sunday
          (March 1).

Will we share meals as a group onboard the ship?
        
Yes, we will have lunch together on Thursday, March 5, in a
         casual setting in Cafe Caribe on Deck 15.
